Latte Without a Espresso Machine

Latte Without a Espresso Machine
It happens to everyone, you are enjoying a quiet day at home, probably just relaxing, it might be morning, afternoon, evening, but it will happen, that random image, a message, a memory, you just find yourself in need of coffee, not just any coffee, no, no, an espresso, actually a latte. Yes, you require a latte.
And then it happens, you know you need an espresso machine, but that is not happening at the moment, you need to solve this craving fast, and at home.
Today, we are here to help you bring a solution to your not-so-complex-complex dilemma with three different ways to prepare your very own espresso at home!
1. The classic: Moka Pot.
The deal is simple, the most traditional way the Italian espresso, ground coffee into the funnel, water in the water tank, secure and to the low fire it goes.
There are certain tricks to make it very close to machine-made espresso: the water never cold, either warm or hot, the fire never strong, the lowest possible, and beans, fresh beans make good bubbles, good crema, but also, freshly ground coffee makes the difference.
You know the drill, take your favorite Vevok Chef coffee grinder (we recommend O6 Slim for this option) turn to the correct coarseness level, if any of our O6 models that would be adjustment #3, fill the hopper with beans and start grinding. You are ready for a beautiful espresso without the need of any extra aid.
2. The modern: Aeropress.
The Aeropress and Aeropress inspired devices are convenient when the need for coffee comes along with difficulties finding electricity or access to fire anywhere near. Since all you need is ground coffee and hot water, there is not much that can't be solved with just this device, except of course, the beans.
Once again, the beans change everything, freshly baked beans and freshly ground coffee, this is what you are looking for, and Vevok Chef can help you, you see, for Aeropress the requirement for finesse in coffee grounds is up to pair with that of espresso machines. Luckily, all of Vevok Chef's coffee grinders are up to this challenge, and you could choose your favorite one, turn into the finest or near finest coarseness and get your perfect ground.
The advantage of Aeropress is that it really makes cream and gives a very similar result to that of an espresso machine. So, you have that done!
3. The no-tools-required: Instant Coffee.
You could, yes. But we know, this is not coffee, it tastes similar to coffee but not really the same.
If this is the only way for you, that's okay! Don't worry, we won't really shame you for it, but instead help you.
When dealing with instant coffee, it is very important to whisk the coffee in equals proportions with water and sugar, as to be able to create some of that missing crema that a latte might require. Just after a light brown mix is created will it be the time to add more water to the preferred point.
So, now you have your made-at-home no-machine-required espresso, but... what about the milk?
The Latte part of Latte.
The tricky part! Well, might not even be so tricky, there are a few different ways to do this. The most classic one is the trusty electric milk frother, either a pitcher or hand blender one, but today we are actually going hard on alternative ways, and so, let's look into a non-electric way, and the answer to that is... a French Press!
.
The How-To.
Warm milk is part of the magic, so, you will need warm or hot milk below the boiling point.
Pour milk into your Vevok Chef French Press pitcher, place the plunger back in place and move it up and down until foam starts forming at the top of the milk. Air is getting in the milk and we are simulating a steam frother.
Once done, it's just a process of pouring some foam out and some into the espresso we already prepared, you could even try your hand at latte art!
